FSB South West London Networking Events - Virtual & In-person

Are you running a business in South West London?  Are you based in Kingston, Richmond, Merton, Sutton or Wandsworth? Then, this Federation of Small Businesses networking event is for you!

 At the beginning of the pandemic, I joined the FSB. I wanted to be part of a national organisation with robust business support; I didn’t want to face the challenges on my own. I started attending the virtual London events and absolutely loved being part of this business community. When they asked me to host a brand new event initially in Kingston, I said yes! This was two and a half years ago; I held my inaugural FSB event in August 2020.

Since then, we’ve grown. With the help of the wonderful FSB team that supports us Event Leads, we soon expanded to Richmond, which is where I live, and early this year we expanded even further and now my event covers 5 Boroughs in South West London.  We meet on the fourth Wednesday of the month at 12pm to 1pm. The events are primarily virtual and once a quarter we meet in-person. This hybrid approach is what the members prefer and it certainly allows for a lot of flexibility. 

If you are working in South West London or planning on starting a business in the area, then our monthly event is your perfect opportunity to forge new business connections, learn practical business tips, keep in touch with the local business community and learn about the services FSB provide for small businesses.

Here is what to expect on the day:

  • 11:45am Doors open for pre-event mingling in break-out rooms
  • 12pm start
  • Quick updates on the FSB national campaigns
  • Quick updates from the business support initiatives from the local councils
  • Networking in small groups
  • 10 min talk on an interesting and educational subject
  • Continue networking
  • 13pm Close and good bye
